In the morning we researched for our final project and took notes on some of the halls. It was cool to learn about different Native American tribes. After working on our projects we went to the National Museum of The American Indian, they had really cool artifacts. also we saw an artists glass work display, they had native patterns and figures, they were awesome! but we were not allowed to take pictures of them witch was a bummer! After the museum we took the subway to China Town! It was over 90 degrees today!

The museum today was interesting, I think it helped a little bit with our projects and there was some cool glass work there, but the highlight of my day was for sure China town. I love wheeling and dealing with the owners. So many of them just want to make the sale so they'll sell it for so much less. Oh and while in Chinatown we went with this little Asian woman to a luggage store to buy purses. Some were knock-offs and some weren't. I got a real one(: I gotta say I love this town.

Day 4 here in The City was a blast. We started our day off at AMNH and studied the Northwest coast Indians, the Plains Indians, and the Eastern Woodlands Indians halls. All of which were very interesting. In the afternoon we went to the National Museum of the American Indian. It was pretty interesting to see some of the artifacts that they had. One of which was a very intriguing Buffalo hide shawl which had the story/war accomplishments of the man that owned it. It was amazing! It showed how he stole 11 enemy rifles during different battles! Now that's history that you can't get wrong! After our visit to the museum we took the subway to China Town. This was an experience all in its self! All the people hustling you for your money and trying to make an extra dime was entertaining. I especially enjoyed bartering. It was fun to see just how low I could get them to go. :)
Until tomorrow, peace out
